“You can find on the outside only what you possess on the inside.” ~ Adolfo Montiel Ballesteros
I have a favourite set of Wayne Dyer CD’s. This quote reminds me of his analogy of when you squeeze an orange, you get orange juice. You only get what’s inside when you squeeze it.
We all get squeezed from time to time. It may be something that someone says. It my be something that happens at work. The question is, what comes out when we are squeezed?
Does anger come out? Does fear or worry come out?
The only way to change what comes out is to change what’s inside. What would you like to come out when you get squeezed?
How can you begin to fill yourself up with that today?

Hello Velma,
I have loved and used the orange analogy myself many times.
Particularly when bad things appear to happen and people ask, “Why did this happen?”
My response, is that God wants to see how sweet our orange juice actually is.
Is it filled with hate and revenge for some of the members involved?
or
Is it filled with love and compassion for everyone involved?
Blessings,
Barry
