I’m baking for Christmas! Yummy! I love how my creativity can show itself anywhere! I adapted one of my favorite chocolate chip cookie recipes, and it turned out really good! Give it a try! I hope you enjoy it too. 🙂
Queen of JOY Turtle Cookies
3/4 C firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 C sugar
1/2 C magarine or butter, softened
1/2 C shortening
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1 egg
1 3/4 C flour
1 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 C each Chips (Chocolate, Butterscotch & Peanut Butter)
1/2 C chopped pecans
Heat oven to 375F. In large bowl, combine first 6 inredients; blend well. Stir in flour, soda and salt; blend well. Stir in chips and nuts; mix well. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls, 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375F for 8-10 minutes or until light golden brown. Immediately remove from cookie seet.
